Rental Terms & Conditions

 

 

1.      On the day of arrival the house is normally available for occupation from 4pm. On the day of departure the house must be vacated by 10am unless agreed otherwise by the owner.

 

2.      The house is furnished to a quality standard and rental includes bed linen, pillows, and house towels. Pool towels are not supplied.

 

3.      Electricity, gas, and water costs are included in the Rental charge.

 

4.      A security deposit of £50 per week booked is required prior to arrival. This will be returned by post within one week of departure providing the accommodation is left in a tidy, presentable condition.  Any breakages or damage will be deducted from the security deposit. There will be a £50 charge made for keys not returned.

 

5.      Pets are not allowed in the property or the grounds at any time.

 

6.      Smoking is actively discouraged particularly in the Lounge and Bedrooms. Any additional cleaning/ dry cleaning costs incurred as a result of odours caused by smoking will be deducted from the security deposit.

 

7.      The owner reserves the right to refuse a booking for any reason, at any stage.  

 

8.      Only the guest numbers specified on Booking Form will be permitted to occupy the property for the dates agreed.

 

9.      The owner is not liable for any accidents, damage, losses, or breakages sustained by the guests or their property.

 

10.  A booking deposit of 10% of total rental cost is required to secure the booking and is non-refundable unless the dates are rebooked by another party.

 

11.  The final Invoice must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the Rental Period. 

 

12.  Cancellations should be given in writing by registered post not less than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the Rental Period. Cancellations received less than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the Rental Period will not be subject to any refund other than the security deposit. It is suggested that your travel insurance should be checked to ensure protection against this eventuality.
