The house, called Scaldis, is a fully restored
stone built country house in Tarn, South-West France with it's own swimming
pool and traditional barbecue. Whilst being in a lovely tranquil spot
surrounded by rolling hills and meadows it has direct views of, and is
less than 5 minutes drive from the historic medieval bastide town of Cordes-sur-Ciel
where there are many restaurants, bars and shops and a weekly street market.
Scaldis is set in grounds of 21/4 acres, sleeps 7, and is part air-conditioned.
It features a woodburning stove, beamed ceilings, exposed stonework, and
french windows to the terrace.
Albi is about 20 minutes drive, Rodez Airport
and vibrant Toulouse with it's International Airport about one hour by
car. Ideal area for golf, fishing, canoeing, cycling, riding, walking,
birdwatching etc. and there are many vineyards in the local region.
